Boho Indigo by Kathy

I have another Shoebox Swap card to share with you today. This card was made by me, but not designed by me. All of the Shoebox cards were designed by some lovely ladies in my team for our Stamp Camp weekend retreat. Some designs I changed very little and others I altered a bit (usually because I made a boo-boo that needed covering up!). 

This card is by Kathy Reeves. We used the Boho Indigo Product Medley for this one. The hardest part about this card was deciding which sheets of patterned papers to use! They are all too pretty.

Tasteful Touches by Paula

I have another Shoebox Swap card to share with you today. This card was made by me, but not designed by me. I think when everyone opened this box at Stamp Camp, we all knew who the designer was. Our lovely Paula Duke is known for her signature purple! I added a touch of gold to Paula's design, but apart from that I changed very little. You can see all the supplies listed below.

CCMC631 Nothing's Better Than

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

How much fun is the Nothing's Better Than bundle? There are endless possibilities with these stamps and dies. This was my first play with this set, but it won't be my last!

I decided to go with Gorgeous Grape for this card (or should that be Cadbury Purple??). I stamped some chocolates in the background and coloured some extra ones to feature on my card. I used Early Espresso ink and a Blender Pen to colour the chocolates and popped them on a piece of kitchen foil. I think they look almost good enough to eat!

The Dainty Diamonds embossing folder is perfect to add just a touch of texture to the Early Espresso strip.

This card is by Jennie Whitaker. I had fun playing with this one and shifting things around...sometimes I like playing by the rules and sometimes I'm a rebel lol. This is a great masculine card. You can see all the supplies we used listed below.

Owl I want for Christmas

As promised, here is the final Owl card. I just couldn't leave these 2 cuties out, or that sweet (punny!) sentiment. The sentiment didn't work well with the Blog Hop sketch, so I flipped the card around, and made the sentiment strip a bit longer and wider. I also added a little Real Red Braided Linen Trim bow for the mistletoe. Too cute!

CCMC630 Arrange a Wreath

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with: 

This is the 3rd card I've made, using all 5 In Colors. I must confess though, it's not my favourite - I think I went a little heavy on the Cinnamon Cider!

I've used the Arrange a Wreath stamp set for this card. I added a few extra flowers with the Confetti Flowers Border Punch, and also glossied them up with some Shimmery Crystal Effects. In the background, I've used the 2020–2022 In Color 6"x6" DSP, and given it some extra texture with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder. 

I love the new In Color Ribbons too. I've used Misty Moonlight here. I think I've been through a few rolls of each colour already - they tie in a bow so beautifully, and are so soft and easy to work with.

September Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a Sketch Challenge. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

Here is my take on the sketch:

I've had fun with the Have a Hoot stamp set today, along with Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. If you're looking for a versatile set of papers for Christmas, these patterns are perfect for packaging or cards in traditional Christmas colours. The pack includes various tiny patterns of plaid, stripes, dots, and more. It’s perfect for Christmas cards and projects, but can work for other occasions too. The colours are Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red and Whisper White.

And how cute are these little owls? I couldn't resist using the other ones in the set, with the same sketch and papers:

There's one more stamp in the set, that I haven't used here, but I'll save that for another post!
