CCMC587 Snowfront Scene

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with:

 

I just love the Snowfront stamp set in the Holiday Catalogue, and I decided to challenge myself to use it to make a card that was neither Christmassy or snowy. These colours are perfect for that ... outdoorsy and a bit rustic.  

 

I stamped my scene on a large circle, and then did some sponging to soften the ground and sky. I also sponged the other panels. The Pinewood Planks embossing folder is the perfect complement for this natural scene.

 

The sentiment on this card is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set, and I've finished it off with some Braided Linen Trim.
