CCMC498 Amazing You

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

Whoops, here I am using the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper again! I told you I couldn't stop using it! I've also used another favourite DSP - the Wood Textures 6"x6" stack. I love the whitewashed pieces in there and have to ration myself!
The flowers are from the Sale-a-Bration Amazing You stamp set. I've stamped them in Basic Black Archival ink and then quickly sprinkled clear embossing powder on to shiny them up. I added a touch of Daffodil Delight with my Blends, and some Crushed Curry twine to finish it off. The sentiment is from Petal Palette and I've punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. Crumb Cake cardstock is the perfect neutral base.

I hope you like my card. Check out what the other talented stampers have come up with HERE. Don't forget you can play along over on the facebook page!

  1. Lovely card Marelle. I love the simplicity of the colours you've used, both DSPs and the heat embossing you've used. Wow, heat embossing with Basic Black, I don't know that could be done, I love the idea of that. Something I will definitely be trying. Thank you so much for inspiring. Take good care.

  2. You're right! This combo is a match made in heaven. I'm putting it in my CASE-it file. ☺ VERY nicely done.
