A Nice Cuppa Stack

Elegant Rose Garden

Don't you love it when products are so awesome that they do all the work for you? This die certainly is that. All I've done is run it through the Big Shot with Very Vanilla cardstock, and then laid it over a piece of DSP. A little lace peeking out the side is the finishing touch. Simple, but elegant.

Balloon Celebration Birthday

I'm loving the balloon trend that is so popular at the moment (and so is my husband, believe me!). Of course I had to buy all the balloon stamps in the Occasions Catalogue. Not only are they great for any age and any gender, we have a definite bias towards them in our family!
The Balloon Celebration stamp set is my favourite balloon set. I love the whimsical style of it. Having the matching punch to pop out extra balloons is so handy too. I've made my bunch shades of yellow and gold, along with black and white to give this card a sophisticated edge.

Dandelions in Mint Macaron

Sometimes the samples in the Catalogue are so perfect that I don't want to change a thing...so I don't! This is the card on page 13 of the Occasions Catalogue. It's so soft and pretty, with the emboss resist dandelion image, Mint Macaron ink and Vellum. I used Watercolor Paper and an Aquapainter to get this effect. I think I'll be making more of these in some other soft colours!

Edited to Add: to make the large Dandelion flower, I used the stamp in Balloon Celebrations and stamped each individual frond a few times to form the flower

Pretty Party Wishes

Having products that co-ordinate makes it so easy to whip up projects that look effortless. Here I've used the Party Wishes stamp set and Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the "It's my Party" Suite of products. But that's where I stopped. Rather than using the very bright It's my Party DSP, I've used the softer Birthday Bouquet paper, in the colours of Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride. It gives this card a very different look - prettier and more feminine.
