Zoo Crew Bicycle Croc

Here is Zoo Crew card Number 2! In honour of the 15% off DSP Sale this month, I'll be showcasing Designer Series Paper on here all through June. 

I snipped out Mr Bicycle Croc from one of the  Zoo Crew 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, and added a bird to his head and a cupcake to his tail. So cute!

This was so quick and easy to put together. I just chose 2 black and white DSP patterns that I liked (the reverse side of all of the animal sheets have black and white background patterns on them). I popped my croc and his friends on a Stylish Shapes square, and stamped the sentiment in the corner. Et Voila!

Zoo Crew Birthday!

In honour of the 15% off DSP Sale this month, I'll be showcasing Designer Series Paper on here all through June. This week is Zoo Crew. 

Add the cutest paper ever to your collection with the Zoo Crew 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper! This paper is packed full of different animals showcasing unique talents from singing to dancing, juggling to knitting, baking to skating, and every fun hobby in between. The designs are lightly coloured, but you can also add your own colours to customise them if you like. Cut out the characters to create cute designs, or use the reverse side’s basic black and white patterns for accent pieces and backdrops. There’s so much you can do with this zany zoo crew! Product colours: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Lemon Lime Twist, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie.

For this card, I was inspired by one of the cards on page 48. This was so quick and easy to put together. I just punched out 2 circles from the spotty black and white DSP, and popped 2 birthday animals behind the windows. The sentiment has been cut out using the Stylish Shapes dies, and I just popped a small piece of DSP and cardstock behind to embellish it. Easy peasy!

Les Shoppes Noodles

And here is my third card that I made using the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper. In honour of the 15% off DSP Sale this month, I'll be showing projects made with Designer Series Paper on here all through June.

This is a bit of a different style for me. That's the great thing about DSP, it can really step you out of your usual go-to colours and styles. I can honestly say that I've never made a card with a bowl of noodles on it before!! Or a Noodle Shop, for that matter! It was lots of fun to make, and Daffodil Delight is so cheery. I really must use it more often. You can see everything else I used listed below.

June Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a fun Colour Challenge! We had to use Starry Sky, Flirty Flamingo AND a colour of our choice. For my third colour I chose Balmy Blue. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

I wanted to use some Designer Series Paper for this challenge, and I found this beautiful pattern in the Les Shoppes pack. Technically, on the colours listed on this pack, it says Night of Navy, not Starry Sky, but as you can see, Starry Sky is a very good match, so I went with it!

I found this cute Balmy Blue Sweet Shop on one of the Les Shoppes pages. Hopefully I haven't cheated too much on the colour challenge, as there are a few other colours on here...but they're in very small amounts! I wanted to add more Flirty Flamingo to the shop front, so I snipped out one of the awnings from one of the other shops and added it to my Sweet Shop (the original awning was Balmy Blue). 

Then, it was simply a matter of arranging all my colours and patterns, until I was happy with the layout. I added a sentiment from Circle Sayings, stamped in Starry Sky. I think this font suits the Les Shoppes vibe quite well. 

I felt that this card didn't need any extra embellishment, so I just shimmered some of the windows and sweet jars using Wink of Stella.

Les Shoppes

This week I'm showcasing the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper. In honour of the 15% off DSP Sale this month, I'll be showing projects made with Designer Series Paper on here all through June.

The Les Shoppes 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper is so stylish! With cute shop fronts, buildings, and vintage awnings on one side, and more traditional card background designs and patterns on the other, there's so much you can do with this paper. Build a scene with the bigger images, create a town background using the designed main street paper, or add some smaller designs like the book or patisserie images to make your projects stand out. It's perfect for creating cards for your book-reading, pastry-loving, shopaholic friends! 

For this card, I simply used the Balmy Blue streetscape background, and then cut out a shop and some extra bits and pieces to pop over the top. I embossed my sentiment (from Circle Sayings) to make it stand out nicely on the black circle.

This was a fun card to make!

I had lots of fun making these cards, and they look like a they were a lot more work than they actually were (gotta love that!). This Designer Series Paper does all the heavy lifting; you get all the benefits of hand-painted and hand-torn designs without any of the hassle.

Here is my third Masterfully Made card. With this paper, you can instantly add layers of dimension, texture, and colour to your cards, scrapbook pages, and more. These mixed-media masterpieces give you all the benefits of hand-painted and hand-torn designs without any of the hassle. 

Here I've used 2 of the Berry Burst and Fresh Freesia papers. This leaf pattern is so pretty, and works so well with the Layering Leaves stamp set and co-ordinating Bough Punch. I think this stamp set, with all of it's beautiful sentiments is going to get a lot of use.
