Vintage Style

I haven't made a Vintage-style card in a while, so I pulled out the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper and made a set of 3! For this card,  I lightly coloured the DSP using Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Blends. I love the effect, and it's so quick and easy.

I used the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder in the background and lightly 'swiped' the raised surface using a Whisper White inkpad. It looks so soft and pretty on the Crumb Cake cardstock.

For the sentiment I used the Lovely and Lasting Bundle. I use this one a lot - I love a stamp set and punch bundle. But I think the thing that takes this card to the next level are the embellishments - the stunning Natural Finish Ribbon and Iridescent Pearls.

Christmas Scottie Set

And here we have four cute Scottie Dogs on my set of 3 Christmas Cards. I used Real Red and Shaded Spruce on all of these. 

I'm looking forward to making some non-Christmassy cards with the Scottie Dogs!

Furry & Bright

How sweet are these Scottie Dogs, exchanging gifts?! They've dressed up in their special matching bows too. 

For these doggies, I deliberately didn't re-ink my Memento Ink Pad, so that I'd get this 'furry' doggy look. I really like the effect! The dogs are stamped straight onto the White piece, and I hand-cut the bows and presents.

Checkered Scottie

It's never too early to get cracking with some Christmas Cards. This design would be a simple one to mass-produce. Not much stamping here - just the sentiment and the bow - and you could substitute any DSP you have on hand.

The Scottie Dog Punch makes quick work of this card. I've used 2 types of checkered patterns on this card. The Shaded Spruce Design is part of the Regals Pack and the Real Red is part of the Gingham Cottage Pack, but like I said, you could substitute any DSP of your choice. If you change out the colours and sentiment, this could even become a birthday card!

Christmas Scottie

And here is another Stamp Camp ShoeBox card. This one was made by me, but designed for us by Teena Pillar. 

This was my first play with the Christmas Scottie Bundle. So cute! And if you're looking for a classic Christmas colour combo, then Real Red and Shaded Spruce is it. It doesn't come more Christmassy than that!

I've also used the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper from the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue on this card. TIP: Make sure your Memento ink pad is nice and juicy before you stamp the doggy, if you want a nice dark image. 

I think my favourite part of this card is the way Teena had us snip the Real Red Mini Ruffled ribbon in half to make it narrower and then tie it in a knot around the doggies neck. So cute!
