Grateful Bunch Stepped Up

Sometimes you need a card design that’s simple enough for beginners, and at other times you need something a bit more complex…and sometimes you need both! At a recent workshop, I had a mixture of experienced stampers and complete novices. This is the card I demonstrated. I showed both versions, and let my guests choose which version they made (and some made a card halfway between the two!). It’s a great way to keep everyone happy….it’s a “choose your own adventure” card! I also used the retiring 2014-16 In Colors and let my Workshop guests choose their own accent colour.

The Grateful Bunch stamp set and punch are both in our new Catalogue, but not as a bundle, so make sure to purchase them before May 31 to get them at the 15% off Bundle price!

Bye Bye Birthday Bouquet

I have absolutely loved using the Birthday Bouquet DSP. The colours and patterns are so pretty and easy to use. I'm really going to miss it...I guess I'll just have to console myself with some of the new papers in the new Annual Catalogue!
I've also used the Birthday Blooms stamp set on this card....I'm happy to say that this one is in our new Catalogue, as is the Brick Wall embossing folder :)
Make sure you grab the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon and the Label Bracket punch though, as they are both retiring. See the full Retiring List HERE or visit my STORE

Honeycomb Icecream, anyone?

These Honeycomb Embellishments add such a fun element to a card. When I intend to mail the card, I only attach one half, leaving the recipient to open it out and peel off the backing to make their own honeycomb!

There's lots of fun Retiring Product on this card - Birthday Bouquet DSP, Pool Party Glitter Ribbon and of course the Honeycomb Embellishments. I made my icecream cone using the Tree Punch and stamped it with a little Timeless Textures.

I can't believe we only have 3 more weeks until the Occasions Catalogue ends and our brand new Annual Catalogue is released!
If you have placed an order with me this year, your copy of the NEW Annual Catalogue will be mailed out to you towards the middle of this month. Keep an eye out for a hand-stamped card, and a Special Offer too :)

A Thankyou with a Flourish

I always like to have a few quick thank you cards on hand, and this design fits the bill.
I whipped up a batch of these in several different colour ways for my customer thank you cards a little while back. This one was my favourite, in Rose Red.
I've used the Retiring set Everything Eleanor (I'm going to miss that flourish!), along with Papillon Potpourri (thankfully NOT retiring)

Use-up-your-Paper-Stash Stamp-a-Stack

Do you have tons of Designer Series Paper that is begging to be used? I think we all do! Well this card design will get through lots of it in no time. These are the cards we are making in this week's classes. Everyone gets to choose their own DSP and sentioments, so all the cards will be one-of-a-kind.

To make these cards, simply cut your DSP to 10cm x 10cm (or 4" x 4") and then cut it on an angle about 2/3 of the way down. Then, attach the larger part to the top half of your card, and the smaller piece to the lower half. Stamp your greeting in the gap in the middle, and embellish as desired (I've added some paper strips and some punched elements to mine).
Just about everything I've used on these cards is retiring, including a few of my favourite sentiment sets (*sniff!*)

Triple Time Three Ways

I made this set of cards some time ago for publication in a Papercraft magazine. I showcased the "Triple Time" Stamping technique using the (retiring!) Everything Eleanor stamp set and (also retiring!) Petite Pairs stamp set. See the full Retiring List HERE

May Stamp-a-Stack Class

This is one of the sets of cards we'll be making in next week's Stamp-a-Stack Class. I thought I'd pop the class details here too, since this will be the last class I'm running for a while (see below). We head off on our Mediterranean Cruise in a few weeks, and then we are staying on to tour Munich, Bavaria, Salzburg, Switzerland, and then finally finishing up in Venice....needless to say, it will be the trip of a lifetime!
Lots of retiring products on these cards... This stamp set, the punches and all of these lovely embossing folders are retiring, and so is the ribbon and twine. My colour combo is Tangelo Twist (retiring), Hello Honey (Retiring), Pool Party, Island Indigo, Tip Top Taupe and Very Vanilla.

I'd love to see you next week:
Stamp-a-Stack Class
