One of my favourite things in the whole world is playing with new rubber...or in this case new photopolymer! Bordering Blooms has the honour of being my first ever photopolymer stamp set. Borders are always so versatile, and when they are perfectly clear so that you can position them exactly where you want to, then what's not to love?

Pistachio Hearts

Hopefully you aren't sick of seeing all my cards made using the Decorative Masks. If you are, I have good news...this is the last one!
I've used one of my favourite colours here - Pistachio Pudding, for a wedding card. I used a Pistachio Pudding marker to trace the hearts in the stencil, and then sponged over the top using a sponge dauber.
Now, I just need a wedding to go to...it's all babies in our family at the moment, not weddings!

Flamingo Lingo

We inked up Flamingo Lingo at our team meeting last month. It's this year's Ronald McDonald House stamp set. If I can combine stamping and support a very worthwhile cause at the same time, then I'm happy! Stampin' Up! donate $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities from the sale of each set.
I've also used the new Lovely Lace Embossing Folder on this card. You'll be seeing a lot more of this one...it's my current favourite!
I kept this card very clean and simple, but I've also done a "stepped-up" version:

My stepped-up version has some extra layering, a button embellishment, plus a coating of Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder to make it really sparkle. If you love punches, this is a great set to add to your collection. It has several stamps that co-ordinate with punches, plus banner stamps that work with the banner framelits
The colour scheme I've used here is Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Smoky Slate and Basic Grey.

TIP: use a handheld circle punch to make a small notch to hold your twine in place. Not only is it very practical, it adds an extra little eye-catching detail to your card

DSP Samplers for Sale

Every year, I like to make up DSP Sampler books. It's great to see the papers "in the flesh". This makes a great tool for Demonstrators, and is also useful to anyone wanting to see actual examples of all of our lovely papers. I use mine often at my stamp desk, when I want to match papers to a project I am working on.
Each booklet contain samples of all of the Designer Series papers in the Annual Catalogue (10 designs, plus 2014-16 In Color Backgrounds in 6" x 3" size, plus the 2 Paper Stacks in 11.5 x 8cm size). Each booklet is bound with a co-ordinating piece of cardstock, which has a label listing all the colours in the DSP. You can punch a hole in them if you wish, and hold them together with a piece of ribbon or a ring.
I have a few spares, due to a couple of non-payers, so I am offering them on a first come, first served basis. The sampler book is $20 (postage to anywhere in Australia will be $7.20). Email me if you would like one! Payment is by deposit into my bank account (details supplied via email).
