Prairie Grass Thank You

I tried to resist buying the Prairie Grass stamp set, but it was no use. I kept seeing really lovely cards made using this set, and the simple silhouette style of the images really appealed to me. Life is pretty busy these days so a stamp set that is one-and-done is just what I need. All this stamp set needs is a background. You can create one yourself or find some suitable Designer Series Paper.

I used a large Clear Block and Stampin' Blends to make this background. I scribbled the Blends on the block (Summer Splash, Pool Party and Darling Duckling), spritzed with Isocol Alcohol and then pressed the block onto some Watercolour Paper. Once it had dried, I stamped the Prairie Grass images in Secret Sea, a lovely deep blue that's not as harsh as black. I embellished with Linen Thread and a few Iridescent Foil Gems, and popped it on a Basic Beige card base.
