Best Day Card Set

Here is my set of four Best Day cards. I've used the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More cards and envelopes for all 4 cards.

It's great to have some more birthday cards to add to my stash! You can see everything I used listed below.

Enjoy the Adventure

I often use the Memories & More cards and envelopes when I need to make a batch of cards. I love having a card base that is already done, and I can just add my card elements straight onto it. For these cards I used the Enjoy the Adventure pack, combined with the Best Day stamp set.

My favourite stamp in the set is this little cupcake cat. He is just so cute with his party hat, bow-tie and balloon. I've coloured my cats in with Blends, and chose colours to co-ordinate with the Memories & more card bases.

And here are the 2 different colours together:

I know I'm usually a blue/green kinda girl, but I actually really like my orange kitty. Which one is your favourite?

All the Wishes

Here's another card that I made using the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More cards and envelopes, along with the Best Day stamp set.

I coloured the cake with Blends and used the small Blending Brushes on the sparklers. I also added an Iridescent Rhinestone to each one. For a bit of extra interest, I used the Vellum Basics behind my image. So soft and pretty!

Best Day

I CaSEd this card from one on page 67 of the Mini Catalogue. Mine is not exactly the same, as I've used the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More cards and envelopes pack for mine.

I love applying colour with the Blending Brushes. It's fun to build up layers of colour. Here I used the same colours as the card base - Mango Melody and Petal Pink. I stamped and cut out the birthday banner on a separate piece of White cardstock, and popped it over the top, using Mini Dimensionals.

Lighting the Way

I was gifted the beautiful Lighting the Way bundle by a lovely customer of mine, so it was only fitting that the first card I made with it was a thank you card for her.

I love this lantern die and the little Lightning Bug. It's hard to tell in the picture but the dies also have some textured details, so they look quite life-like. I've given them both a glow using a small Blending Brush and Crushed Curry ink. I also used some vellum for the firefly's wings.

In the background I used the Fancy Flora DSP. It has some great oil-painted patterns. I chopped up my sentiment into 3 pieces so it fits better on my card.
