Here I am again, playing with the Hills of Tuscany stamp set before it retires. I've used a more traditional colour palette for this one - Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon. This scene makes me want to head back to Italy!

April Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a Colour Challenge. We had to use Boho Blue, Moody Mauve and Mossy Meadow. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

I decided this would be the perfect colour combination to use with the Hills of Tuscany stamp set... before it retires in a couple of weeks!

You can create any Tuscan (or other!) scene that your heart desires with this stamp set. It comes with both detailed images and sentiments that you can pair together to create your own landscape scene. Each stamp is beautifully detailed, and can be easily layered. The images have such depth and dimension when stamped.

Not many supplies are needed to create a card like this, mainly just inks, stamps and paper. I did add some texture with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. I also swiped the Moody Mauve background panel with my Whisper White inkpad to soften it just a little.

This colour combo is Lemon Lime Twist, Summer Splash and Azure Afternoon.

Birthday Botanicals

This is my second  Botanical Layers stamp set (This stamp set is retiring, and a bargain at $20.50!), paired with the Online Exclusives sentiment stamp set Sweetly Scripted.  I've also used a brand new In Color - the embossed panel is Summer Splash. This colour combo is Lemon Lime Twist, Summer Splash and Azure Afternoon. I inked up the leaves in all 3 colours, using a Blending Brush.

You might also spy a brand new colour - the middle panel is Summer Splash, a new In Color! This colour combo is Lemon Lime Twist, Summer Splash and Azure Afternoon. I couldn't decide what colour to ink the sentiment in, so I used all three!
