Balloon Birthday


I needed to make 3 cards for some special boys' birthdays that are happening this week - an 11 year old, a 15 year old and one who is... a little bit older! This is the 'older' one. One of the things I love about balloons is that they work for any age, and any gender. These balloons are from the Balloon Festoon bundle. 
The patterned paper is a Sneak Peek from the Sept-Dec Catalogue, called Painted Patch. In the background is the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder, and I've embellished with a few Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers. The sentiment is from the Banner Sayings Bundle.

Violet Dreams Card Set


This week I've shared some cards that I made using the Violet Dreams Suite, which is part of the July Online Exclusives release. These cards were all made using the Designer Series paper, which has delicate violet florals, polka dots, soft stripes, and coordinating precut pieces of blooms and leaves to layer on cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects.

There's 2 sheets of die-cuts in the pack, which go a long way. I haven't bought the co-ordinating stamp set yet, but I'm keen to buy it so that I can make violets in other colours too!

How cute are these In Color Butterflies? I have to stop myself using them on everything!

Violet Dreams in Gorgeous Grape


Here's another card that I made using the Violet Dreams Suite, which is part of the July Online Exclusives release. This card was made using the Designer Series Paper, which has delicate violet florals, polka dots, soft stripes, and coordinating precut pieces of blooms and leaves to layer on cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects.

There's 2 sheets of die-cuts in the pack, which go a long way. The frame and bunch of flowers is from the die-cut sheet. I haven't bought the co-ordinating stamp set yet, but I'm keen to buy it so that I can make violets in other colours too! The sentiment is from the Exciting Times stamp set. I used a few In Color Butterflies, and some twine for embellishment.

Here's another card that I made using the Violet Dreams Suite, which is part of the July Online Exclusives release. This card was made using the Designer Series Paper, which has delicate violet florals, polka dots, soft stripes, and coordinating precut pieces of blooms and leaves to layer on cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects.

There's 2 sheets of die-cuts in the pack, which go a long way. The frame and the leaves and flowers are both from the die-cut sheet. I haven't bought the co-ordinating stamp set yet, but I'm keen to buy it so that I can make violets in other colours too! The sentiment is from the Exciting Times stamp set. I used a few In Color Butterflies, and some twine for embellishment.

If you don't recognise the embossing folder in the background, that's because it's a Sneak Peak from the upcoming September-December Catalogue. It's called Softly Woven, and I think it's going to get a lot of use.

How cute are these In Color Butterflies? I have to stop myself using them on everything!
