Wildflower Birthday Celebration

Today I have another Wildflower Birthday card to share. You can find this Suite on pages 42-43 of the Mini Catalogue. I chose this gorgeous birthday cake element from one of the sheets of die-cuts. The gold foil accents make it look very luxe. I added a couple of flower die-cuts too. 

I chose Soft Sea Foam (one of my faves!) as my background colour. I embossed a piece of cardstock for the left hand side using the Layered Florals embossing folder, to add a bit of texture. I stamped my sentiment (from the Birthday Celebration stamp set) in Pool Party and cut it out using one of the Nested Essentials Dies. A few Peach Pie Party Dots finish it off nicely.

A Wildflower Note

The Wildflower Birthday Suite in the Mini Catalogue went onto my wishlist straight away. I love the soft pastel colours and pretty birthday designs. I was also attracted to it because the Designer Series paper contains 2 sheets of die-cuts and also 2 sheets of Tags, with lots of gold foil throughout...I can see some mass-production in my future! 

So, this card came together very quickly and easily. I simply cut out one of the tags, chose some co-ordinating DSP. I embossed a piece of cardstock for the left hand side, just to break up the DSP a bit, and tied some white twine around it. A few pink Party Dots finish it off nicely.

I decided not to do a sentiment on this card. Sometimes it's handy to have a blank notecard that can be used for any occasion, and I can always add a sentiment later if I want to.

Storybook Moments Card Set

Here is my set of Storybook Moments cards. You can find this Suite on pages 24-25 of the Mini Catalogue. I've used patterned paper and die-cuts from the Storybook Moments DSP, and sentiments from the Everyday Greetings stamp set. I chose Wild Wheat as my ink colour, which has a lovely gold tone and I also used some Opaque Sparkle Dots for a bit of bling.

Storybook Friends

Here is my third Storybook Moments card. You can find this Suite on pages 24-25 of the Mini Catalogue. For this card I CASEd the card on page 26, and created a "meeting by the fence" scene using some of the die-cuts from the Storybook Moments DSP.  

For my sentiment, I grabbed the Everyday Greetings stamp set. I use this one a lot! I chose Wild Wheat as my ink colour, which has a lovely gold tone and almost looks like gold embossing (great when you are feeling too lazy to emboss!). I chose Lost Lagoon for my card base, and I also used some Opaque Sparkle Dots for a bit of bling.
