Sunflower Fields Thank You


Thanks for all your messages and emails of support about my Dad. He's been in hospital for over 2 weeks now. He needs surgery but is currently not a good candidate due to other health issues, so it’s difficult to know where to go from here. He’s been in a lot of pain, which is so hard to see. 

I'm still going to try and keep regular blog posts happening. Thankfully I have a bunch of cards that I made at my recent Stamp Camp.

Washi Tape Card Set


Here are my set of Washi Tape Shoebox Cards that we made at Stamp Camp last weekend. At my Craft Retreat I have 10 volunteers each make a card-in-a-box, where all the ingredients for making a card are included in each box, including pre-cut cardstock. It's great to be able to sit down and make 10 cards without having to think/plan/design. 

For these cards, I used Extraordinary Flora, Greenery Lane, and Summer Happiness Washi Tape as the focal image. To create these cards, simply apply your choice of Washi Tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock. Then, cut an Arch shape using the Everyday Arches dies. Emboss a pattern with your desired embossing folder. Wrap with Linen Thread and tie in a bow. Layer onto a vellum arch shape with dimensionals. Stamp your desired sentiment onto Basic White circle using Gray Granite ink (mine are from Scalloped Blooms). Layer onto  cardstock, and then onto A5 Basic White card base. Embellish with 3 Antique Pearls. Et voilà!!
