Celebrate Simply Leaves

Have you had a chance to check out the July Online Exclusives? I always like to print these out so I can flick through a paper version, but then I look at the Online Store for card samples and ideas. That's where the idea for this card started out. I love a stamp set and punch bundle, so the Simply Leaves bundle went straight into my Cart. I wanted to choose a different colour palette, rather than the usual autumnal tones. So I went with Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Cloud Cover, on a Crumb Cake base.

Berry Botanicals Card Set

Here's my set of cards featuring May's Product of the Month, the Berry Botanical Vellum. I've also used the Everyday Arches Dies, and the sentiments are from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set. I also fussy-cut some leaves and flowers and adhered them around the arches for embellishment.

Berry Botanical Birthday

Here's another card using May's Product of the Month, the Berry Botanical Vellum. I also used the Everyday Arches Dies, and a sentiment from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set. I've stamped it in Flirty Flamingo ink. I also fussy-cut some leaves and flowers and adhered them around the arch for embellishment. 

TIP: use a cotton bud or paintbrush to spread a thin layer of glue on the back of the vellum. Allow to dry for a few minutes and then the glue won't show through the vellum. Magic!

Berry Botanical Thinking of You

Here's another card using May's Product of the Month, the Berry Botanical Vellum. I also used the Everyday Arches Dies, and the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set, and I've stamped it in Blueberry Bushel ink. I also fussy-cut some of the berry sprigs, to add a bit of dimension.

I finally got a chance to play with May's Product of the Month, the Berry Botanical Vellum. I also used the Everyday Arches Dies...love these for framing an image! The sentiment is from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set, and I've stamped it in Golden Glow ink - such a pretty mustardy yellow.

Valley in Bloom Card Set

Here is the the set of cards that I made using the Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper, along with the Floral Flight Accents Pack. These pieces are perfect when you want the look of an intricate die cut, without the effort of actually cutting it out! These intricate paper embellishments pop out from the sheet cleanly, ready to layer on scrapbook pages and handmade cards. The black silhouettes provide a striking, modern edge, while the fine details keep things feeling light and sophisticated. 

The sentiments are all from the Greetings for All Ephemera Pack. These are such a quick and easy way to add a greeting to your creations. I've embellished my cards with some twine and some Shimmering Dots.
