Christmas Kangaroo

Colour your way into the Christmas season with the Joyful Friends Stamp Set. Filled with cheerful Australian animals, festive greetings, and seasonal details, it’s made for cards, tags, and treat bags that instantly catch the eye. With warm-weather Christmas touches and playful scenes to colour, it’s a fun way to add extra personality to the season. We don't often get Aussie animals featured in Stampin' Up! sets, and these ones are so cute! There's a Kangaroo, Koala, a couple of Wombats and a Kookaburra.

I've also used some of the A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper. Sadly, this is sold out now, but you could substitute any Christmas paper you have in your stash.

Pretty Poinsettia Card Set

Can you believe it's only 2 months until Christmas?? Scary stuff...I don't know where this year has gone!

Here is my set of Pretty Poinsettia cards. These paper poinsettias are just stunning in real life. The Dies are 'Impressions' dies, so you can use the Impressions Plate to give them a 3D effect that you can really see and feel. You can layer as many petals as you like to create poinsettias in all different shapes and sizes. The Everyday Arches Dies get a lot of use in my Craft Room. They always add a special touch to a card.

Poinsettia Joy

I couldn't resist making some Pretty Poinsettias in a shade other than red. White flowers are so elegant, and these paper poinsettias are just stunning in real life. The Dies are 'Impressions' dies, so you can use the Impressions Plate to give them a 3D effect that you can really see and feel. You can layer as many petals as you like to create poinsettias in all different shapes and sizes. I cut these out of Basic White cardstock, and the leaves are Shaded Spruce. I used gold embossing powder for the sentiment, on a Night of Navy arch. I used Timeless Metallic Gold specialty paper for the flower centres.

I had fun making this one!

Timeless Metallic Pretty Poinsettia

You can layer as many petals as you like to create poinsettias in all different shapes and sizes. I cut these out from the Timeless Metallic specialty paper, which has a gorgeous lustre to it.

Deb's Card-in-a-Box

I love a poinsettia motif at Christmas time, so the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle was a no-brainer for me. And since I hadn't had a chance to play with it before Stamp Camp, I was very excited when I opened Deb's Card-in-a-Box to find a Poinsettia card inside. The Card-in-a-Box Table is a staple at my Craft Retreat. I have 10 volunteers each make a 'Shoebox Swap', where all the ingredients for making a card are included in each box, including pre-cut cardstock. It's great to be able to sit down and make 10 cards without having to think/plan/design.  

These paper poinsettias are just stunning in real life. The Dies are 'Impressions' dies, so you can use the Impressions Plate to give them a 3D effect that you can really see and feel. You can layer as many petals as you like to create poinsettias in all different shapes and sizes. I lightly sponged mine using a Blending Brush to give them even more dimension. The arch shape has been cut from the Shimmering Stripes specialty paper. It's so pretty and shimmery in real life, but quite difficult to capture in a photo!

I couldn't resist making a couple more poinsettia cards, so I'll be back to share those soon.
