Cutest Crew Best Day

The Cutest Crew Bundle gets a lot of use in my stamping room. I love it for the cute little critters but also for the very useful sentiments. It seems to be permanently on my desk! I can't decide whether I like the cats, dogs or birds best, so of course for this week's cards I used all 3.

Kitty Cats first, coloured with Blends and on a background of Soft Sea Foam (with texture courtesy of the Lovely Stripes embossing folder)

I had fun making this one...which is just as well since I had to make 30 for a card swap! Here's the dog version too:

Simply Leaves Card Set

Have you had a chance to check out the July Online Exclusives? I always like to print these out so I can flick through a paper version, but then I look at the Online Store for card samples and ideas. That's where the idea for these cards started out. I love a stamp set and punch bundle, so the Simply Leaves bundle went straight into my Cart. I wanted to choose a different colour palette, rather than the usual autumnal tones. So I went with Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Cloud Cover, on a Crumb Cake base.

You can see everything else I used listed below. Click on the pictures to see more details.

Simply Leaves Birthday

Here's the third card that I made using theJuly Online Exclusives Simply Leaves bundle. I used the same colour palette - Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Cloud Cover, on a Crumb Cake base. Again, I was inspired by the samples in the Online Store. I swiped the Textured Tree Ring Embossing Folder with White ink. It accentuates the design but also gives it a lovely softness.

Enjoy your Day with Simply Leaves

Here's another card that I made using the Simply Leaves bundle. I used the same colour palette - Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Cloud Cover, on a Crumb Cake base. I changed up the layout and orientation for this one. I wanted to use this "Enjoy your day" sentiment, but it was slightly too long for the die. So I cut one end, but only partially ran it through the machine, then I repositioned and cut the other end. This trick comes in handy for making the most out of your dies.
