Happy Happy Birthday

This week I'm showcasing the Pocket Thoughts Bundle, but for this card, I haven't made a pocket. Instead I just used the cute cupcake from the stamp set in Petunia Pop and Berry Burst. I embossed the background using the So Swirly embossing folder - I love how the pattern echoes the frosting on the cupcake.  

A few Iridescent Faceted Gems (I really do have to stop using these on every single card I make!!) add some bling, and a twine bow is the finishing touch.

Frames & Flowers Card Set

Here are my three quick cards that I whipped up using the Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper. This is more than just paper - as well as patterned paper sheets, you get a selection of co-ordinating die-cut images, perfect for decorating cards, tags and Scrapbook pages. I also die-cut some Countryside Corners shapes to stamp my sentiments on (all from the Simply Said stamp set, stamped in Pretty Peacock). I embellished my cards with a few Foiled Gems. 

Now I'm going to make a whole bunch more using the rest of the pack!

And here is my third card that I made using the Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper. The pack contains these frame die-cut pieces that fit nicely on a card front. I stamped my sentiment (from the Simply Said stamp set) on a Countryside Corners die-cut in Pretty Peacock ink. I embellished with a few extra flower pieces from the pack and finished off with some Foiled Gems. So quick and easy!

Here is the second card in my batch... the 'Just a Note' sentiment (from the Simply Said stamp set)comes in handy for just about any occasion. Again I've used paper and die-cuts from the Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper. I embellished the wreath with a few Foiled Gems for a bit of sparkle.

Frames & Flowers Birthday Wishes

I needed to make a batch of Birthday and Thank you cards, as my stash was getting low, so I pulled out the Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper. This is more than just paper - as well as patterned paper sheets, you get a selection of co-ordinating die-cut images, perfect for decorating cards, tags and Scrapbook pages. I also die-cut some Countryside Corners shapes, and then went to work assembling some cards. 

The only stamping here is the sentiment (from the Simply Said stamp set, stamped in Pretty Peacock). I embellished with a few Foiled Gems, and voilà, done! So easy

Wanted to Say Card Set

So here is my set of Wanted to Say cards. There are no stamps or ink OR Designer Series Paper in sight (very rare for me!). Just cardstock, dies, embossing folders and a few Stampin' Blends. 

These were lots of fun to make, in very little time at all, with very little mess (also rare for me!!)

Wanted to Say for Miles

I made this Wanted to Say card for my other nephew Miles (who just turned 9, can you believe it?). His colour combination is Summer Splash, Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape. Such fun colours together! I love the way that adding 5 new In Colors gives you an endless number of new colour combinations to play with! This is the So Swirly embossing folder, which has already become a firm favourite. 

 Hopefully the boys like their cards (although I'm sure they'll be more excited about the presents that go with them!)
