Sending Big Hearts & Hugs
Who knew that Walruses could be cute? Or that they love to snuggle? Well these guys do, anyway!
I coloured my cuddling Walruses (from the Hearts and Hugs Bundle) using Blends, and adhered them to a piece of paper from the Lily pond Lane 6"x6" paper pack. This Pretty Peacock pattern works well with these ocean creatures.
I also stamped some hearts, and added a couple of die-cut hearts for embellishment.

Doesn't this card just make you go "Awww"? These little badgers are just so cuddly. I coloured these guys from the Hearts and Hugs Bundle using Blends.
I chose some Peach Pie Designer Series Paper, from the Lily Pond Lane 6"x6" DSP. One side is covered with ducks, lily pads, and wetland scenery and the other side has all-purpose designs you can use on any project. I stamped some hearts in the background, and also used a few die-cut hearts.
I had fun making this one!

Birthday Hearts & Hugs
I have a dose of cuteness to share this week, with some cards I made using the Hearts and Hugs Bundle. I couldn't resist these little critters. I had lots of fun colouring these guys using Blends.
I wanted some soft pastel Designer Series Paper, so I reached for the Lily Pond Lane 6"x6" DSP. One side is covered with ducks, lily pads, and wetland scenery — so fun! The other side has all-purpose designs you can use on any project. I just cut a couple of square pieces, and angled them on my card. I stamped some hearts in the background, and also used a few die-cut hearts.
So cute!

Take to the Sky Birthday
Today I have another Masculine card to share. Again I've used the Take to the Sky DSP. If you (or someone you love) is a fan of planes, check out the co-ordinating Adventurous Sky bundle. Since I don't have that (yet!), I cut out a plane from the DSP.
I also cut out a tag shape and a 3"x4" panel from the DSP. Then, all I needed to add was a background DSP strip, some twine and a sentiment.
I chose the Unbounded Love bundle for my sentiments and dies.

Best of Luck
One type of card that I often get requests for is Masculine cards. It seems that many people struggle to make these. My tip would be to start with some Designer Series Paper. That will give you a colour scheme to start with, and some designs to play with.
For my cards this week, I've used the Take to the Sky DSP. It has some great masculine colours, in shades of blue, green, grey and tan. It also has a page of tag shapes and 3"x4" images that can be cut out. I've used 2 of them on this card. Then, all I needed to add was a background DSP pattern, some twine and a sentiment.
I chose the Unbounded Love bundle for my sentiments and dies. It has a great variety of words to choose from in a lovely script font, with dies to co-ordinate - what more could you ask for?
