Fresh as a Daisy

I find new Designer Series Paper so inspiring to work with. It gives me a bunch of new colour combinations to try, often ones that I would never have put together on my own. This paper is called Fresh as a Daisy and the colours in this sheet are Pebbled Path, Wild Wheat and Garden Green.

A simple way to 'step up' your DSP is using embossing folders. Here I stuck my Fresh as a Daisy paper onto a piece of 14.3 x 10cm Pebbled Path cardstock, and used the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder to give it some texture. I tied a piece of 3/8" (1cm) Wild Wheat Textured Ribbon around the join. This ribbon is so soft and lovely to work with. 

For the sentiment, I wanted something a bit extra, so I pulled out the Sentimental Park stamp set and dies (so glad these carried over!). The finishing touch is some Brushed Metallic adhesive-backed dots. I think this bronze colour works really well with this colour combination.
