I stepped way out of my colour comfort zone for this card! This is Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss. Sometimes it's fun to use colours that you don't use often, and in the end I was happy with the result. it's definitely a striking combination!
There's lots of sentiment options in the Charming sentiments stamp set, and I thought these two greetings worked really well with my Bird's Eye View birdies. I couldn't resist adding glasses to one.
You can see everything I used listed below. Thanks for visiting!
I decided to challenge myself to use the same layout as my last card, but with some different colours and also a different stamp set. This is what I came up with!
This little guy standing on his stack of books is so cute. I decided to stamp some glasses to add to his studious demeanour! I went a bit retro with the colour palette - Pumpkin Pie and Pretty Peacock.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of making cards with these cheeky monkeys. This card was my take on Heather's Stamp Camp Shoebox Swap, using the Little Monkey stamp set. I coloured my monkeys and branches using Blends in shades of brown and green (and of course Daffodil Delight for the bananas).
I decided to angle my panels, and I added some texture to the Early Espresso layer using the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder. This was a fun card to make!
What is a Shoebox Swap, I hear you ask? All the ingredients for making a card are included in each box, including pre-cut cardstock. It's great to be able to sit down and make 10 cards without having to think/plan/design.
And here is my third card, utilising the same layout. This time, I've used the Medley Mix stamp set. It's a set from the Mini Catalogue, which co-ordinates with the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack. I've also used the Inked Botanicals DSP on this card. I really love the colour palette in this pack.
