And it's time for another Stamp Camp ShoeBox card. This one was made by me, but designed for us by Tamara Blanch.
Tamara showed us a great watercolour wash technique, where you apply ink to a large clear block (we used ink spots), lightly spritz with water, and then smoosh your Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper onto the block. You can also spritz the watercolor paper beforehand to help the ink spread around. I'll definitely be doing this again, in lots of different colours!
I'm loving these cute little Kindest Gnomes, and I couldn't resist popping 2 of them on my card. I coloured them in the same bright colours as my watercolour panel - Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy.
The sentiment has been embossed with white powder, so that it really pops on the black cardstock strip.

What is a Shoebox Swap, I hear you ask? All the ingredients for making a card are included in each box, including pre-cut cardstock. It's great to be able to sit down and make 10 cards without having to think/plan/design.
