CCMC610 Beautifully Braided

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

I think I have coloured these gingko leaves from the Beautifully Braided stamp set in just about every possible colour...and I haven't found one that I dislike yet!

Today I have Petal Pink and Calypso Coral. What do you think?

Sadly, the Beautifully Braided stamp set and the co-ordinating Braided Border Punch are not carrying over into our new Catalogue, so grab them now if they are on your wishlist. But thankfully, the Peaceful Moments stamp set and Subtle embossing folder that I've used here ARE carrying over.

I hope you like my card. Check out what the other talented stampers have come up with HERE. Don't forget you can play along over on the facebook page!

Honey Bee Sunshine

How cute are these busy bees? Sadly, the Honey Bee stamp set is retiring with the Mini Catalogue. The dies aren't available at the moment, due to COVID-related manufacturing/shipping delays, but you can still get your hands on the stamp set.
I'm loving the Seaside Spray, Crushed Curry and Basic Black colour combination. I'm so going to miss the White Baker's Twine...it's Retiring too :(

Wishing you Sunshine and Happiness in your day today!

Blossom Sympathy

I have another Forever Blossoms card to show you today. I kept this one very soft and simple, for a sympathy card. The colours are Petal Pink and Mint Macaron.

I think my favourite touch is swiping the Basket Weave texture with Whisper White ink. I coloured some Rhinestones with a Basic Black Blend for embellishment. You can see all the products I used to make this card listed below.

Thanks for visiting!

CCMC609 Honey Bee

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with:

This was my first play with the Honey Bee bundle. I thought these colours would work well for bees and flowers. These dies are so fine and delicate.  All I had to do to make this card was cut out a few elements from the stamp set, colour them and assemble them on a white card base. I decided it didn't need anything else.

Sadly, the Honey Bee bundle is unavailable to order at the moment. The stamp set is still available though. A few sets of dies and a couple of embellishments, have been affected by COVID-19 related manufacturing/shipping delays. Here is the list of affected products:
151193: Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels
151566: Bonanza Dies
151526: Detailed Bee Dies
151512: Garden Gateway Dies
151605: Painted Labels Dies
151326: Whisper White 1/4" (6.4 mm) Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon
151297: Label Me Fancy Punch
151594: Poppy Moments Dies

This was a really fun card to make! I hope you like it. Check out what the other talented stampers have come up with HERE. Don't forget you can play along over on the facebook page!

2020 Retiring List

A Brand New Annual Catalogue is just around the corner (hooray!), and that means we have to make way for lots of lovely brand new products. So, it's time to say goodbye to some old favourites from the Annual Catalogue and the Mini Catalogue. Everything on the list is only available while stocks last.

I think the easiest way to view what's retiring is in the Online Store (make sure you check out the Clearance Rack while you're there!).
If you prefer, you can download and print out the PDF.
And click here for the Mini Catalogue Retiring items PDF.

The best way to make sure you don't miss out is to place your order in my Online Store.
All orders over $50 will be automatically added to my mailing list to receive a FREE copy of the New Catalogue (mail outs begin mid-May). If you prefer to email me your order, that's perfectly fine too.

Don't forget, once these products sell out, they are gone forever! Don't miss out!

.....and yes, you read that right - SNAIL adhesive is retiring! But don't worry, there's a brand new adhesive for you to try in the New Catalogue.
And don’t panic... Blends markets will still be available, but only as Combo Packs, not individually

Beautifully Braided

I love this Gingko leaf image from the Beautifully Braided stamp set. It's just a joy to colour. Here I stamped it multiple times in Grey Granite ink and coloured it with my Seaside Spray Blends. I didn't want to add too much other 'stuff' to this card, so I just used the co-ordinating punch to make a tone-on-tone border, embellished with some twine, and popped on a small sentiment.

I made a few of these to send to some special people. Hopefully they liked them!

More Awesome Tacos

Sale-a-Bration is such a fun time, and one of my favourite parts is welcoming new team members. I made a batch of these cards, and then had the happy problem of needing more!

I love this little taco-guy, so I went with him again, but changed up the colours and layout. I don't use Terracotta Tile very often, but I think it really works here. And I don't know why the Absolutely Argyle embossing folder works with tacos, but I think it does?

Thanks for stopping by!

CCMC608 Beautiful Moments

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

How sweet are these little girls? This was my first play with the Beautiful Moments stamp set from the Mini Catalogue. All of the images feature scenes of women and girls, and this one is my favourite. It reminds me of myself and my little sister when we were young. These images are a delight to watercolour. I stamped in Memento ink and used my Blends - Pool Party, Real Red, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink.

The Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper has soft watercolour washes on one side of each page. I thought these soft Pool Party stripes would be perfect for this beach scene. I used Sahara Sand as my base card colour. I gave it some texture with the Subtle embossing folder.

I hope you like my card. Check out what the other talented stampers have come up with HERE. Don't forget you can play along over on the facebook page!

April Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop!
For April we have a Colour Challenge. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

Here is what I made with these 3 colours:

How cute is this little guy? As soon as I saw that Smoky Slate was one of the colours, it was all the excuse I needed to ink up this little koala from Bonanza Buddies. I cut him out and gave him a party hat, complete with a Bermuda Bay pom pom. I love how he looks like he's waving.

I used Stitched Shapes and Stitched So Sweetly Dies on this card, and echoed the stitching in the pattern I've chosen from the Brights DSP pack.

I stamped some subtle pom poms in Versamark on the Smoky Slate piece, and finished with a piece of twine tied in a bow.

Well, that’s it from me. Thanks for stopping by! Click on the button below to move to the next stop:

If you happen to lose your way here’s a list of all the participants:

2. Kylie Page
3. Kerry Bunting
