This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:
How adorable are these little guys? The stamp set is called The Gang's All Meer and you can earn it for FREE when you spend $90 during Sale-a-Bration. I had fun giving them their own personalities by adding some party hats for them to wear and a letter to hold, spelling out "H-A-P-P-Y". The letters are from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (in the Mini Catalogue). I stamped it twice, and cut out the A and second P from one, and the H, P, Y from the other - this way, you get more white space around the letters. I inked up 'Birthday' separately with a marker and stamped it underneath.
The black and white striped paper is from the Golden Honey DSP. You can also earn this for FREE during Sale-a-Bration. I love using black and white paper and adding just one colour. It doesn't matter what colour you choose (they will all look good!). I decided on one of my favourites, Coastal Cabana here. I also used Crumb Cake as a neutral base. The Braided Burlap Trim provides some texture.
