CCMC514 Very Vintage in Purple

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
We have something different for the month of June, to celebrate the release of our new Annual Catalogue! Each week there will be a picture from the new catalogue, and we can be inspired by either the layout or the colours. This is our project for Week 2:

I love this colour combination, and I was tempted to go with that this week, but in the end I decided to copy the layout again. I love this year's selection of Hostess stamp sets, and I've used the Very Vintage set here.  I've also used 2 brand new colours. I know the purple lovers out there will be fans of these 2 - Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.
Here are a few details about my card:

• I've stamped the background using the doily stamp from the set in Versamark, for a subtle tone-on-tone effect.
• I've layered some old and new punches for the sentiment - 1 1/4" circle, Darling Label (stamped first using the co-ordinating stamp in the set), and the Pretty Label (stamped first using the Label me Pretty stamp set)
• I've stamped the floral image twice - once in Highland Heather on the Very Vanilla panel, and again in Gorgeous Grape on some scrap cardstock. I've cut out some of the flowers and popped them up on dimensionals, and used Wink of Stella to add a bit of sparkle.
• The Gorgeous Grape background piece has been embossed with the new Climbing Vine folder. I then lightly sponged Whisper white ink on the raised areas.
