Grand Vacation Pillow Gift Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to our Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Sharon Armstrong's blog and are visiting me for the first time, Welcome! ...and I hope it won't be your last visit.

On this tour we are all taking inspiration from the Pillow Gifts we received in Hawaii. You will visit blogs from around the world, so grab a cuppa (or maybe a Mai Tai!) and get ready to get inspired with us!

Without further ado, here's my Pillow Gift Tag Banner:

One of the things that make Stampin' Up! trips so special is that at the end of each day, we return to our rooms and find a gift on our pillow! All of our Pillow Gifts this year came in a gift bag, decorated with a cute tag. Each tag had a different Hawaiian saying or turn of phrase on it. I thought they would make a great memento of our trip, made into a fun banner.

I didn't do a lot to the tags (they were already pretty cute!)...I just adhered each one to a slightly larger Early Espresso circle, and then to a Deco Label framelit in co-ordinating colours. A bit of frayed burlap and Natural Chevron Ribbon completes the look.

My Banner is adding a touch of Hawaii to my stamp desk:

It makes me smile whenever I look at it :o)
I hope you liked my creation. Your next stop is Betty Button's blog. Enjoy!
