I'm being brave today and showing you a card that I don't like...one of those ones that started as an idea in my head and then didn't translate very well onto paper. I stuck 3 strips of cardstock down onto my Sahara Sand card (Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Calypso Coral) and then stamped Summer Solstice on top in Early Espresso ink. I think the rest is all pretty self-explanatory...and just a little bit ugly unfortunately! Oh well, we all have off days ;o)
Marelle I REALLY like this!! I've saved it into my faves to CASE! Its funny, something you don't like will always inspire someone else! Thanks for posting it!

ReplyDeleteI think this is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really like it too. The Summer Solstice looks great on your In Colour strips.
ReplyDeleteFunny how we each interpret things so differently.
I'm with Karen - I like this a LOT! Thanks for posting it anyway, I am keen to try this one - great idea :)
ReplyDeleteIt's simple and uncluttered. One of those quick and easy cards you can make a million of and hand out to friends to use as 'thank yous' etc..
ReplyDeleteIt's great how different styles appeal to different people. I actually like this one Marelle so thanks for posting it...Carolin xo
ReplyDeleteMarelle, you have created a lovely card. The stampset over the coloured stripes made we say "I have to have that stampset!" So, a successful card in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI like this to. Orginal Li z P
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw this, I thought it was really striking; I love it! I laughed when I read your post, Marelle.
