Still more Shimmer...and a guessing competition!

Marelle Taylor Stampin' Up! AustraliaI've got a huge to-do list today, but I didn't want to miss out on showing you all a card, so here I am with another shimmery design. This time, though, I'm going to make you guys do some of the work! There will be a prize in it for the first person to get ALL THREE questions right!
You need to answer 3 questions:
1. What ribbon have I used?
2. What did I use to stamp and colour the flowers?
3. List all the cardstock I have used on this card

All materials used are Stampin' Up! (of course!)
I'll be back on Friday with the answers and the winner!

Edited to add: Demos and overseas Demos/non-Demos are welcome to enter. I haven't decided on the prize yet, but it will be something good, I promise!
And a little hint...the most obvious answers probably aren't right!

    I guess it is regal rose grosgrain ribbon;
    black stazon to stamp, inkpads and blender pen to colour;
regal rose, river rock, pixie pink and brushed silver cardstock.
I think the black "layer" is an outline of black marker???

  13. Hi Marelle, thanks for letting demos enter. I'm not going for a prize, just like the challenge. What a great idea. Wish I could see the card in the "flesh" as my monitor colours are not a true representation. But a guess it is:

    1. White taffeta dyed with Rose Red re-inker

    2. For the main image, Staz-On (or Versamark and black embossing powder - can't see if the black image is flat or slightly raised in the photo), Markers, Blender Pen/s. I note the grey shadow around the image to make it pop. For the background flowers on Regal Rose card, I would guess Versamark.

    3. Brushed silver, Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose (edged with silver), Rose Red.

  14. Hi Marelle,
Thought I'd give this a go!
    OK, Number One.
I think ribbon used is White Grosgrain, dyed with Regal Rose re-inker and Silver re-inker
    Number Two.
I think you have embossed image using black embossing powder, and used Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Basic Gray markers to colour blending with an Aqua Painter. Versa Mark for flowers in background.
    Number Three.
Cardstock used- Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Brushed Silver, Pretty in Pink, Black.
well, ther you go-even had my 5 year old commenting on colours. She thinks its 'gorgeous and beautiful"!!!!

  16. Hi Marelle - thought I would have a crack at this! Here goes! lol

    1. What ribbon have I used?
White Grosgrain dyed with the Rose Red Reinker
    2. What did I use to stamp and colour the flowers?
Black Stazon Ink, then you coloured using your aquapainter and the inks from Rose Red Regal, Rose and Mellow Moss, followed by out ouline of a light grey marker!
    3. List all the cardstock I have used on this card
Ok Base Card is Rose Red, then you have a layer of Mellow Moss, then Regal Rose, then the flower is stamped on the brushed Silver Metallic cardstock, which is then layered onto black then onto mellow moss!

How did I do - gosh that was a toughie! lol

  21. Hi Marelle,

Without seeing the card it is very tricky because there could be a few possibilities. I think to add to my second part of what was used to paint and colour the flower was white watercolour crayons that was added to the base of the image. For the leaves I think you might of used mellow moss not river rock ink. I am debating on the cardstock I believe it to be river rock but it could be mellow moss the sponging on the edges have thrown me off. I will still stick with river rock. I love the challenge liam

  22. Hi Marelle,

Card: Rose Red, regal rose, mellow moss, basic black, brushed silver

  23. Louise again, was just having another look...did you sponge the edges of the regal rose with silver ink?

  24. Hi Marelle
I'll have a go while my little one is asleep.
RIBBON - White taffeta dyed with Rose Red inker.
FLOWER STAMPING - Black Stazon with Blender Pens & Watercolour Wonder Crayons of Certainly Celery & Rose Red then an outline of gray marker surrounding the image.
CARDSTOCK - Rose Red as base then Certainly Celery which has been sponged on the edges with Certainly Celery ink. Then Regal Rose textured CS with has been sponged with regal rose & then edged with silver ink. Certainly Celery CS again sponged with same. Then finally the brushed silver card with the image on it.
Its really quite hard to break that down.
    Thanks for the challenge.

  25. Hi Marelle, the only thing different that I can think of is that the main image is stamped in versa mark and embossed blak and then coloured with markers and blended with an aqua painter. The BG is still stamped in versa mark
