Merry Christmas Scene

Here is my third Scenery card, using the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper. I chose this pattern for it's nostalgic feel...it reminds me of the illustrations in a book I loved as a child. 

I didn't add much else to this card, just a sentiment and some touches of gold, to echo the glowing lights.

Aspen Tree Scene

Here's another idea for using Scenery Designer Series Paper, like One Horse Open Sleigh. Here I used the Aspen Tree Dies in the foreground, and let the scenery be the backdrop.

A sentiment and a few embellishments is all that's needed to finish it off.

A Christmas Scene

Using 'Scenery' Designer Series Paper is a great way to make quick and easy cards that still make a big impact. This is the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (part of the Online Exclusives, so not in any Catalogue). 

For this card, all I've done is emboss the paper, to give it some extra texture, using the Snowflake Sky embossing folder. I then added a sentiment - this one from Christmas Classics suits the feel of this card really well. A few embellishments finish it off.

Hey, there! What's new?

I stepped way out of my colour comfort zone for this card! This is Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss. Sometimes it's fun to use colours that you don't use often, and in the end I was happy with the result. it's definitely a striking combination!

There's lots of sentiment options in the Charming sentiments stamp set, and I thought these two greetings worked really well with my Bird's Eye View birdies. I couldn't resist adding glasses to one.
