Pillow Box Treats

At my Launch Parties I always like to give the attendees a little thank you gift to take home. This is what I came up with for this year. These little Pillow Boxes make it so easy to put together a bunch of thank yous:

Off to Alaska!

Today Dave and I are off to Alaska for the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip. This year it's an all-expenses paid cruise through the Inside Passage on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas. We are leaving a couple of weeks early to see the sights of Vancouver, The Rockies and Seattle, and don't return until July 29.

The kids are staying home this time to mind the fort. Amy is working and Jacob has HSC trials to study for.

CCMC517 Big Wishes

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com.
This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with:

The new Big Wishes stamp set is fantastic if you need a quick birthday card, and I thought these colours would make a great 'boy' card.

I stamped the image in Grey Granite and used a Blender Pen and ink to colour the candles in Blueberry Bushel and Mango Melody.

A few banners snipped from Best Route Designer Series Paper and Mango Melody cardstock are all the embellishment needed.

To liven up the background just a bit, I used the Subtle embossing folder (this one is already a firm favourite!).

Garden Impressions Notecards

I always like to have a stack of notecards ready to go. They are perfect to pop with a parcel or gift. My favourite size at the moment are these Narrow Notecards. All you need to decorate these is some pretty Designer Series Paper (here I've used Garden Impressions) and a stamped and punched sentiment. I've also cut out a small flower from the paper as an embellishment. To decorate the envelope, a punched 2-1/4" Circle is perfect.
