September Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a Sketch Challenge. You can make the complete circuit and see all the lovely creations by following the links at the end of each post.

This is such a versatile sketch that could work with just about any stamp set....that gave me a dilemma about which one to choose! In the end, cute won out (as it so often does!):

The cute today comes in the form of squirrels. This was my first play with the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set....and it won't be my last! They are just so sweet. You can colour them, as I've done here, or use the 2-step solid stamp to add colour.

I used some Christmas DSP in the background. Yes, that leaf pattern is from the new Mini Catalogue - it's called Painted Christmas.  I think it works well for non-Christmassy designs too!

To tie in with the forest theme, I used the Timber embossing folder on the Crumb Cake piece.  

The sentiment is also from the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set. I used the Banners Pick A Punch to flag the ends.
