Very Versailles Dragonfly

This is one stamp set from the January-June Mini Catalogue that I'm very glad carried over into the Annual Catalogue - Dragonfly Garden (and the co-ordinating punch!).

For this card, I've paired it with the Very Versailles stamp set... I use that scripty background a lot! My colour scheme is monochromatic - Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue. I used a Blender pen to soften the stamped images - no need to pick up any ink - the Blender Pen will move the colour from the stamped image around. 

This is a nice, simple one...which made it perfect to mass-produce for some customer thankyou cards. I made it in a range of different colours :)

Fine Art Floral

I didn't intend on such a blogging hiatus this month! I've been making lots, just not having time to photograph and blog. 

I've been torn between playing with new stuff and having one last play with things from the January-June Mini Catalogue that aren't carrying over. Today's post is the latter - the beautiful Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.

I feel like an Impressionist Artist when I use this paper! I just love the oil-painted look. I added to the effect with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.

It's on Again!

Annual Craft Sale!!!! 

After a hiatus in 2020, our craft sale is on again! We will be doing things a little differently this year as we are unable to hire our usual hall at the moment. 

Instead, Nikki Stalker, Meighan Wheller and I will be holding a sale at Nikki's house in Lalor Park (not far from our usual hall). 

We will have LOTS of retired items for sale (my cupboards are overflowing with items from this year and last year too) which we will be selling at bargain prices. 

Date: Saturday 22nd May, 2021 

Time: 9am - 12 noon

Payment method: Cash (but will have card facilities available if needed).

Meet the 2021-23 In Colors

One of my favourite things about a new Catalogue is having a new batch of In Colors to play with. This year's batch has not disappointed! We have 4 beautiful mid-tone hues - Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent, along with a deep, dark tone - Evening Evergreen. I've used all 5 on this card. 

I've also used a brand new stamp set and punch - the Flowers of Friendship bundle. I added some texture to the background with the new Bark 3D embossing folder.

Woodland Wonder

I've been giving some love to some soon-to-be-retiring stamp sets. This super cute set is called Woodland Wonder, and you can find it in the January-June Mini Catalogue.  I decided to make a peekaboo card, with a window cut-out. I kept it deliberately plain on the front, so that the inside would be a 'wow'. Take a look:
