StampingPals Challenge #SP1

Today I have a card to show you that I made for a brand new Challenge Blog. It's called StampingPals and it was started by a couple of my lovely team members. The challenge for March is a colour challenge, using these 3 colours:

I decided to use the stunning Peaceful Moments Bundle for my card. The Poppy Moments dies make stunning flowers (and who says poppies have to be red?).

I cut out the top layers of the dies from Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Mango Melody cardstock, but for the base layers I used Whisper White cardstock and sponged with ink. This gave me the lighter shades to add some depth and contrast. I went for a white-on-white background to really make these gorgeous colours pop. I used the Layered Leaves embossing folder for some texture. The sentiment is my favourite Peaceful Moments set (again!).

I had fun playing with these colours - they are a bit brighter than my usual go-tos, but I really like them together!
