A Cool Treats Ice-cream Parlour

Any one for ice-cream? The Cool Treats stamp set and matching framelits are so much fun to play with. I've used panels of the co-ordinating Designer Series Paper to whip up these 'cool' cards in no time at all.

Here's a sundae, complete with chocolate topping, sprinkles and a cherry on top!

And I think this one is apricot frozen yoghurt, with a cherry on top:

And here's the whole ice cream parlour:

Avant Garden in pinks

I made this card for a couple of special team member's birthdays. I've used the very girly colour scheme of Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron and Early Espresso.
This embossing folder is called "Falling Petals" but I've made mine falling hearts instead :)
The stunning stamp set is Avant Garden - one of the free Sale-a-Bration offerings.

Make a Medallion with Glimmer

Here's a set of cards made using 2 of the new Sale-a-Bration offerings - the Glimmer Paper and Make A Medallion stamp set. We made these at my recent team meeting. I wish you could see how sparkly they are in real life!
I've also used the Lace Doilies, which are more like a medallion than a doily, so they co-ordinate really well. I've sponged them to add some colour.

Guess which was the most popular card colour - Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum or Mint Macaron?

So in Love with Clean and Simple

I made this clean and simple card for my sister's birthday recently. That is very much her style, so I resisted adding too many frills or colours!
Then, to satisfy my own tastes, I made another version with just a few more frills and colours :) I'll show you that another time.
Have a happy Monday!

A Spinning Balloon

This is the other "Special Card" we are making next week. It's a Pop-Up Spinner card! I had lots of fun making this card, and then I couldn't stop playing with it when I was done. You spin the hot air balloon to wind it up, then close the card, so that when the recipient opens it, they see a spinning balloon:

So much fun! Oh, and you might notice that I've used the Cupcakes and Carousels Paper (again!).

Balloon Adventures Pop-up

It's been so lovely seeing everyone again in my classes this week. Stamp-a-Stack was our warm up, and next week we are stepping it up with some Special Cards. These are the type of cards you give to the special people in your life. We'll be making a pop-up card and a pop-up spinner card (I'll show you the spinner next time).
Here's the pop-up inside:

I'm a little bit in love with the Cupcakes and Carousels Paper Stack. I have to stop myself using it on every card I make!

High Tide Stamp-a-Stack

This is the other set of cards we are making in classes this week. The High Tide stamp set can make absolutely stunning coastal scenes really quickly and easily. The sentiments are really beautiful too.

I couldn't decide whether I liked Pacific Point or Island Indigo better on these cards, so I did a bit of both. I think they both work really well with Crushed Curry and Basic Grey.

I've brought in an old favourite Gorgeous Grunge for the background.
