Meet Emerald Envy

Emerald is such an on-trend colour right now. I'm seeing it everywhere in clothing and home decorating, and now we have it in our Stampin' Up! Catalogue. Emerald Envy works for both masculine, feminine and kids cards. I'm thinking it's also going to get a lot of use around Christmas time! I've paired it with Dapper Denim on this card, and I think they work really well together.

Meet Sweet Sugarplum

Our new Catalogue isn't far away (June 1 - only 9 sleeps!!) and with it will come a whole set of 5 NEW In Colors. I'll be doing a blog post every day this week, so that you can "meet" them.

Happy Stampin'-versary to me!

I think it's rather appropriate that today is my 10 year Stampin' Up! Anniversary and this post is coming to you thanks to the power of scheduling, since I am currently en route to Barcelona about to embark on my 9th Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip. Dave and I will soon be cruising the Mediterranean, and also celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary! Needless to say, many cocktails shall be had!

To celebrate, I made myself an Anniversary Card (I'm allowed to do that, right?!) using some new, and some not-so-new products:

After our 7 day cruise (taking in Naples, Rome, Florence, Marseilles and Cannes), we'll be flying to Munich and visiting Bavaria and Salzburg, then travelling by train through Austria and Switzerland and finally finishing up in Venice! We'll be away until mid-June, and the kids are staying home and minding the fort. There will still be plenty of posts happening here and you can also follow my adventures on facebook! I'll still be contactable by email, but may take a little longer than usual to reply :)

A Farewell Cuppa

When I got my hands on the new Annual Catalogue, one of the first things I did was check to see whether the Nice Cuppa stamp set was in it. Sadly, the news was not good :(
I love this stamp set, and haven't had nearly enough time playing with it. So, this is me giving it one last hurrah. I love blue and white china, so I've gone for that look here using a brand new colour Dapper Denim, and a new stamp set Mixed Borders.
How cute is the little teaspoon? They are also retiring, so grab them by May 31 if you want some (if they last that long!)

Just Because...I like White!

White space is very on-trend at the moment. I've always loved the white-on-white look, so I'm happy that I'm fashionable for once! Here, I've tried to let the white sing, with just a splash of fresh blue and green - Marina Mist and Pear Pizzazz. I've kept the layout clean and simple too.
A few things to note about this card -

• The Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder is retiring.
• The Number of Years stamp set and matching framelits are only available as a 15% off Bundle until May 31. After that, they will be in the new catalogue, but only available to buy separately, without any discount (and that goes for ALL the bundles in the Occasions and Annual Catalogues!)
