I've been busy getting ready for my new Catalogue Launch Party next Sunday. It's a pretty good life when "busy" equates to playing with new stuff :)
But...I'm not going to show you my new creations just yet. Instead, here's another card from the vault, that I thought I had better show you before everything on it retires! This was another card I had published in Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine a while back. I had to use the "Field Flowers" stamp set 3 ways for a Stampers Challenge. For this card, I attempted to put a more masculine spin on it, using autumnal tones.
"Field Flowers" is on the Retirement List...if it hasn't sold out already!
To create the background effect, I 'swiped' my inkpads across a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock until I was happy with the effect. I used Cajun Craze and Early Espresso ink. It's a very quick and easy way to DIY patterned paper.
I'll be back soon to show you the other 2 cards I submitted.
