Thanks to everyone who came along to our Craft Sale. It was a fantastic day, and very successful for everyone. It was great to come home with a much lighter load, and we'll definitely be doing it again!
Thanks also to those of you who ordered a DSP Sampler book. The places are all filled now, and most have been mailed out. I still have a couple of places left in my Ribbon Share though, so email me if you'd like to join in that!
Don't forget my Catalogue Challenge. You have until the end of May to join in. That gives you all week. There are some great entries already!
You also have one more week to take advantage of Stampin' Up!s May Specials. When you buy 3 packs of paper, you can get a 4th pack FREE, and you can join Stampin' Up! for only $150!
Here's a quick card I made using the Inspired by Nature set. It's a great one to pull out when you need to make a quick card, because it takes up almost the entire card, leaving you with little else to do. I coloured the stamp with markers, and then gave it a spritz with water before stamping on Whisper White cardstock. I made a couple of these for some special people.
Materials (all Stampin' Up!)
stamps: Inspired by Nature, Best Yet
ink: Regal Rose
card: Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White
other: Regal Rose marker, Certainly Celery marker, Apricot Appeal marker, Old Olive marker, Pretty in Pink marker, Scallop border punch, Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain ribbon
So glad that Saturday went well for you - I didn't make it there myself, but hopefully the weather wasn't too much of a deterant for others. Stunning and fresh card Marelle- I do like the white card bases; mine just seem to be quite bland and blank.. but all of that colour you've used makes the flowers really 'pop' off the page. Nice work :) Have a fab week.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty card, love the colour and will have to put that stamp set on my wish list...thanks Marelle...Carolin W
ReplyDeleteHi Marelle! Long time no chat... I had to pop in and tell you that this card is beautiful! I do see all of your posts through Feedblitz, I'm just not so good at coming to leave comments anymore. Been a little busy lately. :) Love ya!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Marelle. I love that stamp, and the colours you've used are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteAmazing colours, Marelle! I have only ever seen this done with rustic type colours ... so this was such a pretty alternative! I don't have this set ... but am trying to listen to Alison's talk from Convention ... and "buy wisely". (Although ... this is so hard to resist!) I hope you have recovered after all the busy-ness of Convention ... and thanks for taking the time to reply to my email! Stampin' Hugs, Andrea L xxx
ReplyDeleteLove that stamp set - dont have any of the shadow stamps (or block type stamp sets). It stamps well with water spritzing doesn't it? Love the colours - the new in-colors are amazing! and here I was disappointed that they discontinued the last in-colors
