Bold & Bright Birthday

How is this for a fun, bright birthday card? It just screams 'Celebration' and 'Hip Hip Hooray'. I chose this striped rainbow pattern from the Merry Bold & Bright DSP pack for the background, and stamped the party blowers in the same colours. 

This was a fun one to make, and would work for any age birthday. You can see everything else I used listed below.

Year to Celebrate

I've been having fun playing with the Year to Celebrate stamp set in the Mini Catalogue. I thought I'd better show it some love before the Mini ends on January 3! I took inspiration for this one from the designs in the Catalogue. I chose this piece of DSP from the Merry Bold & Bright pack (not just for Christmas!) and that gave me my colour combo. I love these shades of blue and green.

The Iridescent Adhesive-backed Discs add a fun bit of sparkle to this card.

Season's Greetings!

Merry Christmas! I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas. I'm currently enjoying a break on the South Coast with my family. 

I managed to send out 200 of these cards this year, and I would love to have been able to send out even more!  I used one of my favourite holiday products on my card - the Christmas Classics bundle. I chose Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock, Silver and Whisper White for my colour combo. 

I hope your Festive Season is full of peace, love and joy and I hope it continues throughout the new year!

'Tis the Season

Here is my third Jolly Words card. I used the Deckled Circles dies again to stamp my image on, in Shaded Spruce ink. I stamped the bauble part again in Black Memento, coloured it in with Blends, and cut it out. I popped it up with a Mini Dimensional to make it stand out a bit more.

In the background is the Merry Melody embossing folder and the check pattern is from the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I added a touch of gold with the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack.

Christmas Joy

How cute are these little elves from the Jolly Words stamp set? I had fun colouring these guys and bringing them to life. I decided that I wanted my 'J' and 'Y' to be Real Red, rather than black, so I stamped them again and cut them out. I used Mini Dimensionals to make them stand out even more.

In the background I used the checked pattern from Joy of Christmas DSP, and also the Christmas Tidings embossing folder. I think the Deckled Circle adds an extra special detail.
