Peace, Hope and Joyful Tidings

I stuck with the white on white theme for my next Christmas card, using the Joyful Tidings stamp set (find it on page 58 of the Mini Catalogue). I kept the design very simple and elegant, but added texture with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing folder in the background, an Irregular Weave Trim bow, the stitched detail on the Branching Out dies and some Iridescent Pearl 'berries', which I coloured Real Red using Blends. It's all those little details that really step up a simple design.

Joyful Tidings Wreath

The beauty and simplicity of the Joyful Tidings stamp set on page 58 of the Mini Catalogue really appealed to me. I love white on white Christmas cards so that's what I decided to make with it first. The key with simple designs is to add texture so it doesn't look too 'flat'. On this card I added texture in 4 ways - the Traditional Wreath Embossing folder in the background, the Irregular Weave Trim bow, the stitched detail on the Branching Out dies and some Iridescent Pearl 'berries', which I coloured Real Red using Blends. It's all those little details that really step up a simple design.

Gathering Together Hello

Here is the third card that I made using the Online Exclusive Gathering Together Suite. If you like Autumn Tones, then you'll love suing this Suite. I often find myself using Autumnal colours for masculine cards. They tick that box between not-too-bright, but not-too-dull either.

To make this card, I used a Basic Beige card base (love this colour!). I chose a couple of patterns of DSP for the background, and cut out some leaves and a small mushroom to frame my sentiment. This greeting is from the Branching Out stamp set. You can find this one on page 50 of the new Mini Catalogue. I finished the card off with a few Cajun Craze & Gold Dots.

Here is another card that I made using the Online Exclusive Gathering Together Suite. If you like Autumn Tones, then you'll love using this Suite. For this card, I combined it with the Branching Out bundle. I love the images and the sentiments in this stamp set, and the dies are so versatile. I'm a sucker for nesting frames! I finished the card off with some linen thread and a few Cajun Craze & Gold Dots.
