'Tis the Season for Elegant Pine

Here is my second Elegant Pine Snowflakes card. This time I've used Shaded Spruce as my background colour. I don't use this colour often, but it does come in handy when you want a true Christmas green. 

The gorgeous sentiment is from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set. I've stamped it on a Stylish Shapes circle and accented it with some greenery cut out from the DSP and a few Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflake 'berries'.

Jolly Elegant Pine Snowflakes

This week I have some Elegant Pine Snowflakes cards to share. This Online Exclusive Designer Series Paper is a bit different from anything else we've had before. Usually snowflake patterned paper is wintery, with lots of white and pale blue, but these snowflake designs feature pine trees, in shades of Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green and Old Olive. 

For this card, I chose a Pretty Peacock design. I love this colour, and it's a bit different for Christmas, but still looks Christmassy enough. The lovely sentiment is from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set.

I finished off the card with a couple of strips of contrasting paper, a few clear Faceted Snowflakes and a white twine bow.

Traditions of Christmas Card Set

It's not surprising that the Traditions of Christmas Suite has been so popular. It has even sold out a couple of times since it was released in the Mini Catalogue. I love the combination of traditional Real Red and Old Olive, along with elegant Night of Navy and a splash of Pool Party. 

Here I've made two Christmas cards and one all-occasion. I also used the Traditional Labels Bundle. It has some very versatile sentiments in a gorgeous font, along with beautiful labels to stamp them on. I'll be using these well beyond Christmas!

For embellishment on this card, I used other items from the Traditions of Christmas Suite - some Real Red Shiny Ribbon, Traditional Sparkling Sequins and I also snipped out some flowers from the DSP.

I had fun making these!

Traditional Just for You

The Traditions of Christmas Suite is not just for Christmas! This card could be for any occasion. I used this checkered piece of the Traditions of Christmas DSP, and also cut out a bunch of flowers from the DSP. How stunning is the font on the 'just for you' sentiment from the Traditional Labels stamp set?

For embellishment on this card, I used other items from the Traditions of Christmas Suite - some Real Red Shiny Ribbon and a few Traditional Sparkling Sequins.

Traditional Season's Greetings

Here is another take on the Traditions of Christmas Suite. This time I've used more Old Olive, and just a touch of Real Red. The real stars of the show are the flowers I cut out from the Traditions of Christmas DSP.

I also used the Traditional Labels Bundle. With this bundle you can combine so many sentiments and different shaped labels to stamp them on. I'll be using these well beyond Christmas!

For embellishment on this card, I used the Traditional Sparkling Sequins from the Traditions of Christmas Suite.

I always choose one patterned piece, and one that is plainer, so it doesn't look too busy. Have a look at the Traditional Labels Bundle if you want some very versatile sentiments in a gorgeous font, along with beautiful labels to stamp them on. I'll be using these well beyond Christmas!

For embellishment on this card, I used other items from the Traditions of Christmas Suite - some Real Red Shiny Ribbon, Traditional Sparkling Sequins and I also snipped out a poinsettia from the DSP.
