Loveliest Tree Sympathy

Anyone who has been around Stampin' Up! for a while would remember the classic Lovely as a Tree stamp set. The new Loveliest Tree bundle is an homage to that set, in a similar style but it also contains some lovely (and very useful) sentiments, and co-ordinating dies too. I've used the sympathy one on my card today. I think this is a great set for 'thinking of you' type cards.

I've used the Thoughtful Journey 6"x6" DSP in the background, which also gave me my colour scheme - Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Peach Pie and Wild Wheat. I used a piece of Wild Wheat behind it too. I love this new neutral shade. I framed my tree on a circle cut using the Spotlight on Nature dies. These circles have beautiful detailed borders.

Painted Lavender Set

The patterns and colours in the Perennial Lavender DSP inspired this set of cards. The co-ordinating Painted Lavender stamp set takes centre stage, and the Perennial Postage dies frame the images. 

I used the same layout for all 3 of my cards, but they all look quite different, just by making a few small changes.

Painted Lavender Wishes

The patterns and colours in the Perennial Lavender DSP are just so pretty. If you're a fan of purple shades, you need to get your hands on this one! I've chosen some of the plainer pieces so that the co-ordinating Painted Lavender stamp set can take centre stage. 

You may have noticed that I used the same layout for all 3 of my cards this week, but by simply changing the paper patterns and stamped images, you can achieve quite a different look. It's a good trick to have up your sleeve when you want to make multiple cards.

Marvellous Painted Lavender

This is my second Painted Lavender card. I've taken my colours from the beautiful Perennial Lavender DSP - Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. I used the Perennial Postage dies to cut out my stamped image. 

Now I just need to find a 'marvelous' person to send this card to....luckily I know a few!

Painted Lavender Thank You

This week I'm showcasing the Perennial Lavender DSP and the co-ordinating Painted Lavender stamp set. I'll be using the same layout for all 3 of my cards, but changing the paper patterns and stamped images to create 3 different looks. 

These soft shades of purple and green - Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Lost Lagoon set the scene for a pretty floral theme. I love the watercolour look you get with these stamps.

Planted Paradise Card Set

Here is my set of Planted Paradise cards. You don't even need to be a crazy Plant Lady (like me!) to have fun with this set. This stamp set can be used for just about any occasion, and for just about any recipient too.  

I've used Copper Clay, Calypso Coral and  Pebbled Path for my pots, and a few shades of green for all the leaves. I used a lot of Crisp White in the background, and added texture with the Distressed Tile and Basics 3D embossing folders. I also by scored a border around the edges of the main panels. I used the Mediterranean Blooms DSP for a pop of blue, and embellished with a few Rhinestones.

This was a fun set of cards to make!
