Happy Valentine's Day, and welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop! This month we have a tic-tac-toe Challenge. We had to choose 3 items in a row to incorporate into our card. I went in a diagonal and chose Designer Series Paper, Dies and/or Punches and Ribbon or Twine, for my card. I use these 3 things on pretty much every card I make, so it was an easy choice!

I decided to continue playing with the
Most Adored Designer Series Paper, in honour of Valentines Day today. That took care of the "DSP" part of the challenge (and it's a FREE Sale-a-Bration item!). The "punches" are the hearts that I punched using the
Bee Builder Punch. The large heart is actually bee wings! The "twine" is White twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials pack.
The sentiment is from the Throughout the Year stamp set, stamped on a strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I lightened the tone of the cardstock first by swiping it with White Craft ink and then wiping it dry with a tissue (if you look closely, you can see that it is lighter than the border piece, which is it's regular colour). This meant that it matched the lighter pink shade in the DSP, and my sentiment stood out a bit more. In other colouring tricks, I tinted my Adhesive-backed Hearts & Flowers using Real Red and Flirty Flamingo Blends.
