Floral Delight Swap Card

This week I'm sharing my swap cards from our recent Demonstrator Event. Swapping is always a fun part of these gatherings. Basically you make a number of cards and swap them with other Demonstrators so that at the end you have a bunch of different cards, and have met lots of lovely people in the process. It's lots of fun!

I used the Floral Delight paper from the Mini Catalogue, along with the Everyday Arches Dies. These dies nest beautifully, so you can easily layer them. I cut an arch from the centre of my piece of DSP, and then layered it on a Basic White arch that is one size up. Then I simply layered it back on my DSP piece. I added a strip of Old Olive cardstock to anchor the sentiment, which is also stamped on a sideways arch.

I added some Daffodil Delight Satin ribbon (also from the Mini) and some Iridescent Foil Gems for a bit of bling.

2025-27 In Color Card Set

This week I shared some cards that I made using the brand new batch of In Colors. Last week I was lucky enough to attend a Demonstrator Event where we received a copy of the upcoming new Annual Catalogue (coming on May 6th!), and we were able to play with, and pre-order some items from the Catalogue. Needless to say, it was a very exciting weekend!

First on my list to pre-order were the 5 new 2025-27 In Colors - Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush (back again!), Cloud Cover and Secret Sea. I love having new colours to play with!

Here is the set of cards I made using all 5 colours. I've used the Mixed Florals bundle (available now as an Online Exclusive). I stamped in Stazon ink on Watercolour Paper and used ink and an aquapainter to colour my flowers. I also used the Textured Notes bundle (also an Online Exclusive) - I love these rectangle dies with detailed borders and the 'thank you' sentiment from the Textured Notes stamp set.

I also don't have the new In Color DSP (yet!) so instead I used embossing folders to add some pattern and texture to the background.

I hope you've enjoying seeing these new colours. You'll be seeing a lot more of them in the near future!

Meet Secret Sea!

This week I'm be sharing some cards that I have made using the brand new batch of In Colors. These will be appearing in the upcoming new Annual Catalogue (coming on May 6th!). The 5 new 2025-27 In Colors are - Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush (back again!), Cloud Cover and Secret Sea. I love having new colours to play with!

This is Secret Sea, which is my second-favourite (so far, but it's still early days!). It's a deep, stormy navy, with a touch of grey. It reminds me of a pair of dark denim jeans. I've used the Mixed Florals bundle (available now as an Online Exclusive). I'm not sure if daisies come in this colour, but isn't that the beauty of stamping - you can be as creative as you like. Because I don't have Blends in the new In Colors (yet!!), I stamped in Stazon ink on Watercolour Paper and used an inkpad and an aquapainter to colour my flowers.

I also don't have the new In Color DSP (yet!) so instead I used the new Turtle Textures embossing folder to add some pattern and texture.

I hope you've enjoyed this tour of the new batch of In Colors! Do you have a favourite yet?

Meet Strawberry Slush!

This is Strawberry Slush, which you might remember if you've been around Stampin' Up! for a while. It was part of the 2013-15 In Colors. I'm really happy to have it back - it's a lovely not-too-bright shade of pink. I've used the Mixed Florals bundle (available now as an Online Exclusive). Strawberry Slush is the perfect colour for these tulips, and I used Old Olive for the leaves. Because I don't have Blends in the new In Colors (yet!!), I stamped in Stazon ink on Watercolour Paper and used an inkpad and an aquapainter to colour my flowers.

I also don't have the new In Color DSP (yet!) so instead I used the Soft Waves 3D embossing folder to add some pattern and texture.
