Stampin' Up! OnStage Event

I've just returned from an amazing couple of days on the Gold Coast. I was there to attend our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator event. Here I am with some of my lovely (and excited!) team members.
There was much excitement as we got to preview the upcoming Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration brochure (released in January), and we even got to play with new products...once the Stampin' Alarms had been turned off!

We were also lucky enough to receive tons of giveaways and prizes. Stampin' Up! sure know how to spoil us!
Throughout the day we watched both streamed stamping presentations from the US, plus live demonstrations from our Aussie Demos.
Stampin' Up! also announced awards and recognition for Top Demonstrators both locally and globally. I walked the stage for achieving the Alaska Incentive Trip and then I got a lovely surprise when my name was announced for 3rd in Australia for recruiting!
I was cheering and clapping for my fellow Demonstrators for the other awards, when I got the shock of my life. They count down the Top 10 in Australia and I never dreamed for a second that my name would be in there. I almost fell on the floor when my name was called out for Number 2. I thought maybe I'd misheard, but there it was up on the screen:
I'm still half-expecting someone to call me and tell me that they made a big mistake!
The next HUGE surprise was when this happened:

There are approximately 50,000 Demonstrators in the world and I am Number 75. I can't quite get my head around it! I'm a shortie, and as the day went on, my lanyard got longer and longer, until I had to hitch it up so it didn't dangle between my knees! ...not such a good look, and quite a nuisance when going to the bathroom! :)
In no way have I done this alone - I am so grateful for my amazing team, my loyal customers, and my incredibly supportive hubby. I couldn't have done it without them.
I'm still on cloud nine....do you think it would look silly if I wore my lanyard grocery shopping?! ;)
