Petite Petals meets Perfect Pennants

Sorry for the blogging hiatus...I think end of Sale-a-Bration had me exhausted, plus I was husbandless while Dave was in Denver, Colorado for the World Balloon Convention (yes, that is a real thing!)
We're counting down around here...only a couple of weeks before we all hop on a plane for our Grand Adventure. I was lucky enough to earn the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation, which is a Caribbean Cruise. We've decided to take the kids, and extend the trip  to take them to New York, Niagara Falls and Orlando beforehand. We're all a bit excited!
I've managed to squeeze in a couple of weeks of classes this month. This was one design in the Stamp-a-Stack class I ran last week:

The colour combo is Real Red, Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar....pretty, without being too 'girly'. I've used the Perfect Pennants stamp set and matching framelits, and also the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch (can you tell I'm a matchy-matchy kind of gal?)

TIP: if you're after a quick, cheap and cute embellishment that perfectly co-ordinates with your project, try a punch and a dab of Crystal Effects. Here I've used a small star, small heart and tiny dot (it's a 'sprinkle' from the Cupcake Builder Punch) to embellish my projects, and made them all shiny and glossy with the Crystal Effects.

  1. This is such a great Stamp a Stack class Marelle. I haven't run one of these yet, but every time I see you do one, I think I should. Your little tips are also a great. I think the CE covered dots are a great alternative to using Candy Dots (and more fun to make!). TFS
