Bold Lanterns

I had fun designing this set of Stamp-a-Stack cards...the strong colours aren't my usual style, but I like stepping out of my comfort zone every now and then:

I do love the Happy Congratulations set, and I find myself pulling it out all the time. To make this set of cards, I stamped the black outline of the lanterns on scrap coloured cardstock and also on the white/grey pieces. On the coloured pieces, I also stamped the lantern 'filler' image in Versamark ink, and then punched out all the lanterns with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I then stuck them over the outline image on the white/grey pieces.
To make the "polaroid" frame, I just used a Square framelit to cut out the middle of my rectangular cardstock.
The colours I've used for the lanterns are Gumball Green, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay. Metallic Buttons, Chevron Ribbon and White twine are the perfect understated embellishments.
